HiPOD 13 Jul 23: Dunes in Tyrrhena Terra

The objective of this observation is to examine a few dunes near small craters. If any movement or other changes occur, one can easily tell because the dunes are associated with these small craters. This scene can be found in a Context Camera image. Tyrrhena Terra is northeast of the Hellas impact basin and covers 2,300 kilometers at its broadest extent.

@HiRISE looks like snow and a lake of ?TAR or oil oozing out of it ?

@Oldguyaz Alas, it's just a couple of sand dunes. The color is enhanced, using the infrared-red-blue filter.
