HiPOD 10 Jan 2023: A Landslide Deposit in Melas Chasma

This image covers a large landslide deposit in Melas Chasma. The deposit front reveals bright rocks and color variations in distinct layers. Although transported for tens of kilometers, such landslide deposits can preserve the stratigraphy (rock layers) of the source region.
