HiRISE 4K: A Spooky Place

This part of the full observation shows an extraordinary terrain literally pockmarked with what look like dozens and dozens of small impacts. This location is right outside of Sharanov Crater: could some of these be secondary impacts from excavated material that fell back after Sharanov was formed?
