I’m having real trouble understanding the coherence of SCOTUS decisions.
SCOTUS says your religious beliefs have precedent on your work schedule. SCOTUS says your religious beliefs mean you don’t have to provide freedom of SPEECH related services to various people.
If I’m a teacher, & practice Quakerism, how can I be prohibited from teaching, SPEAKING, American history/slavery/critical race theory? Explain it to me like I spiritually believe God’s opposition to slavery and bigotry. ✌️
@GrazingintheGrass At the risk of sounding homophobe, I agree with SCOTUS favoring the right not to serve same sex marriage, not because of the same sex couple, they have always existed, but because I must be free in my services to work for whoever I please!
I can use other excuses than religion, such as, too busy or a bit under the weather, whatever I can imagine would be perfectly OK!
That's what the first amendment is about, FREE TO DO WHATEVER I WANT as long as I am not a danger!😎
