OMG I just had the funniest thing happen. One of my students txted me asking if I knew how to work a record player. Then he FaceTimed me and I explained to two teenagers how to use one, and I mean every detail, how to put an album ON a turntable etc. It was precious and I am still laughing.

I bought some stamps in the checkout aisle of my local grocery store. As she handed them to me, the teenage cashier asked me what they are for.
I paused a beat to see if he was kidding. When I could tell he wasn't, I answered that they are for sending letters. He smiled and said, "I learned something new today."
