Why must banana bread be made with rotten bananas?

@HawkHorton the darker the banana the seeeter the bunch (hehe). But it’s true. The riper it is, the better banana flavor you get

@Patti1120 I don't know. I just ate a slab and it tasted like rotten banana which, it appears, I am not a fan of.

@HawkHorton lol well technically when they get that ripe you should only bake with them not eat them like a normal banana lol. I’m a baker and when I see dark ripened bananas I instantly think banana bread or muffins. So for the future. If they are that dark. Either use them for baking or freeze them and you can use for a smoothie base 🙃never eat
