so i read this advice column about a person who was struggling w/ eating at a relative's house b/c the relatives had nasty food practices:
- no hand washing after petting the dogs
- using food encrusted 'clean' dishes
- dropping food on the floor & putting it back into the dish
- coughing in the food

the advice columnist said these practices were fairly normal & the writer should get over themselves.

frankly, i would never eat at anyone's place who did this stuff. i'm i the weird 1?
