I'm adopted. I was lucky that adopting kids from Asia became en-vogue in the 70's. My birth-mom was 15. Knowing that, had she lived in a country where she had a choice not to carry me to term, I may not have been born, am I still pro-choice?

Made kimchi tonight. Apparently wypipo don't know the difference between napa and green cabbage, so I got 2 free heads of green cabbage from instacart that I do not know what to do with (had to go in person to the grocery store to get napa. very annoyed.)
@mcfate yeah but that doesn't make Fox news headlines and we did actually release a lot of immigrants without being vaccinated.

Once we start giving it away to immigrants and "terrorists" it'll be a different story.
One way to encourage the MAGAt anti-vaxxer crowd to get vaccinated is to offer free vaccinations to Afghan refugees.
FOMO is a heady drug, especially when you're racist and it involves non-white people getting something you suddenly feel entitled to because you're white.
My husband has spent half of the last decade+ in Afghanistan and then was in Iraq before that. He always thought we should get out of Afghanistan, but not like this.
He feels like the last 15 years of his life were all for nothing.
He said he's been on the verge of tears all day today at work, but coming home to me and the puppers helped.
I can't imagine how it would be if he had no one.
