My company's HQ is in Austria. I just spent $400 last week on an app to learn German because I'm seriously considering asking for a relo if donald wins in 2020.
The irony of learning German to flee minority oppression is not lost on me.

I've been using Duolingo unpaid to slowly pick up Italian for nearly 2 years now?
It's a pretty good base, if I were immersed I think it would be a great help.

@InvaderGzim I go to Austria at least every other month these days, but everyone I deal with speaks English, so it's hard to get immersed.
It is a bit (you're all welcome here by the way).
People left Europe to get away from tyranny and oppression - and now it's starting to flow in the other direction.
