@Guillaume Since you’re a runner I presume you enjoy the outdoors & a bit of wilderness. If you’ve got a car & a weekend while in San Jose, head south on Hwy 9 & explore Big Basin Redwood State Park. The trees are incredible but the road is windy. Head from there to Santa Cruz & down to Monterrey. The Monterrey Bay Aquarium is well worth a visit. And if you’ve got the time, keep driving south to Carmel (worth a stop) and on to Big Sur. The coastline there is spectacular. Wild. Rugged.
