My former boss got terrible ringworm from his cats being allowed to sit on the table. I just don’t understand mixing litter boxes and eating surfaces via their feet.
@LnzyHou our cats are allowed on the little funky counter top that sits over the actual counter. We keep Clorox wipes and between the two of us here, the cat counter is super clean -but then we're clean freaks . And because they have their own counter space overlooking the action, they don't wander onto the real kitchen counters or the table.
@LnzyHou They hang out on the lanai or go burrow in the closet. In ten years, they've never explored beyond the set parameters. They also know, as do the dogs, that begging at the table is not appropriate - and our Mama cat keeps everyone, puppy included, in line. It's kinda funny to watch.
