Not exactly the bedmate people want. . .

@GrumpyWolf Because that particular snake is one of the most venomous snakes in the world. About 20 years ago, Guam was swarmed by them - they were in the closets, the cupboards, the toilet, the shower, everywhere. My sister's husband was USAF and they were stationed there - she left Guam with the kids and moved to Hawaii until his TDY was completed.
@Greytdog It just needs extra cuddles!
But no, seriously, that would be freaky as hell. The venom probably wouldn't worry me as much as the shock and then trying to make a decision to not go anywhere near the damned thing.
Seriously, I would probably go super-twitching/reaction and lunge towards it instead of away.
I have control issues. LOL
@GrumpyWolf Cuddling that snake would be the death of you - literally. From Wikipedia:
"Pseudonaja is a genus of highly venomous elapid snakes native to Australia. Species of this genus are known commonly as brown snakes and are considered to be some of the most dangerous snakes in the world; even young snakes are capable of delivering a fatal envenomation to a human."
@Greytdog That's when you boop it on the nose and say "No! Bad snek! No mousey!"
Joking aside, yeah, they're dangerous as hell, but I still like the nope ropes.
@GrumpyWolf We have a couple of racers that hang out in our yard, and the ubiquitous rat snake - we have a yellow rat snake that likes to come sun itself when we're working in the garden. Loves to hang out with the zucchini plants...
@Greytdog We have a lot of garter snakes and sharp tails that like our yard. It was fun mowing the yard and seeing about 8-10 of them slither away. LOL
@Greytdog Why? He cute! We love our danger noodles and nope ropes!
