Each year, we recognize February 19th as a shameful moment in our history when President Roosevelt signed Executive Order 9066, leading to the forced removal and incarceration of over 120,000 people of Japanese ancestry during World War II. This was one of our lowest points in American history—a day that bigotry prevailed, the Constitution was scrapped, and America lost its way.
