I'm more of an either go to eight time zones, the line being Virginia Beach to south of Santa Cruz, California. north of there daylight saving time does not benefit so much as it does south, full time standard time or status quo in that order.

Ed Markey should know better. Boston would be among the places most negatively affected by Permanent DST. Sun not up the week before Christmas until 8:30 AM is no good for business.
