Mother-in-law just found father-in-law unresponsive and called an ambulance. He is on way to the hospital. I don't know anything more than that. Sister-in-law just called in tears trying to get ahold of my husband. Had to call him at work and tell him. I hope FIL is still alive! 😔 His triple bypass isn't until March... #CovidIsNotOver
Apparently he is responsive in the ambulance now. MIL found him on the floor in the bathroom. She doesn't know if he had heart attack or hit his head. They are going to work him up once he gets there... ☹
So, FIL got admitted. They pulled blood, ultrasounded carotid and kidneys, EKG, CT of head, etc., etc. His labs show he is suddenly in kidney failure (kidneys were fine before!), heart is same as prior hospitalization, thrombocytopenia, etc. Sounds like damage from #Covid or a clot somewheres... waiting for results and shift just changed. Maybe know more tomorrow? 😟
