Sooo; local news is doing a segment: "Verify: Did Scrooge pay more than minimum wage?" w/a 'Verify-It' tool. Was dissecting, analyzing, comparing to today's Dept of Labor fair wages, dollar & pound values, inflation, yada yada.

Results: No. His employees would be considered below poverty level.

It's too early for this; didn't expect to start analyzing nor verifying Christmas tales, because, 🐇 holes; what about other Christmas stories? Can his sleigh actually defy gravity?🤷🏽‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤣

Manners Manners! Hello Everyone! A late Happy #caturday & Season's Greetings!

Broke piece of 📱 2mo ago: hard to charge. Hub's won't hold a charge long. Laptop works but: Carpal Tunnel + Rhuematoid + can't feel flat keys becase of nerve damage = hard to type using 👐 correct on laptop; usually '1-finger' it; good days can use semi-normal!

Gotta use 👓for close; while looking for them, I look for my cane too; walking w/o & in pain. I sit back down & cane's beside 💺 & glasses on head! Ugh!💊 🤣

This hasn't been my year at all & I thank God I quit drinking yrs ago; the way this year's been for me, I'd be in rehab and/or committed by now! 😅

Christmas hasn't been easy since becoming Disabled, unable to return to work, although I kept trying. Many days I wish I still have bosses yelling, work overloads, & vacations cut short, just to still be able to help my fam w/o a 2nd thought.

They all understand but it's still hard not to be able to 'be there' for my Grands, kids, &, my Hubs.

Post was reported as a scam by an unforgiving lady & removed. Kiddo wants me to get on there to verify her story. She called me 2 days ago wanting me to go along with her plot. Now, she wants help verifying her truth; had she just let me post in the first place, my Grands would be ok. Or rather, feeling better.

Gonna go do it because, Grands, but I truly hate being on FB at all. My deep Dragon always creeps out eventually. People who do what she did is why I stay off of FB.

...because she had started receiving replies w/offers of help & I'd told her to tell the real truth, especially since she had involved me in her cockamamie story! I don't want my Grands getting anything under false pretenses, even if they get nothing. She finally realized her Ma was right & took it down, but is now upset because she put up the truth, spent a few hours going back & forth with a couple of people who wouldn't accept apologies, But, she did start receiving replies w/help. Prob?...

Good Morning All! Thankful to be alive. That being said, UGH! Had/still have headache & was trying to rest. Youngest kiddo (33) calls, waking me up early, intensifying it; we've been sort of 'at-it' the last few days.

I've done a lot & been through a lot'; I've definitely changed my ways. Sometimes the old me comes out in full force but Hubs keeps it in check lol

Anywho, kiddo had put up FB post @ needing help for Christmas & lied about the reasons, not the main facts. She was upset w/me...

Twilight Zone's on tv & lately, I've felt like I'm in several of those scenes!

Every emotion a person can feel, I've felt in the last 2 months! 🤔I've felt everything but well-rested!

An early Good Morning All❤️

#prayerrequest Please keep my adult kids & Grandkids in prayer. Got a call awhile ago; my kids' Dad died. He was in a nursing home, disabled by Huntington's Disease. Going to go watch my all Grands while my daughters go to the nursing home to say their final good byes. 💔

Sigh. Hasn't hit me hard; so much happening this year in our family, that I feel numb...at least for now. Gotta be strong for my kids' sake; he's 💯 in a better place now.
