I've been practicing🛵 in our Red Cross parking lot, a block away. The irony of where I practice the vids I watched, to me: sort of laughable; if I wreck, I'm only yards away from a bunch of medical folks + the pharmacy next door + a volunteer fire station across the road. I'm near plenty of life savers!😅

🤔A TV station's close too; gotta stay upright; don't wanna be 'breaking' news🤦🏽‍♀️👵🏼

This is Snowflake, the Cruzs' dog.

It's reported dog & possible housekeeper left in house w/out power.

It does not sit well w/me.

I was a housekeeper once; not easy to always please your employer, & sometimes you'd do stuff for them that you'd never do in your own home, for your own family. But, they paid well enough for me to overlook their eccentricity.

If I were this alleged housekeeper, me & this dog would have went somewhere warmer; I'd probably be fired, but this tiny dog would be warm

I was feeling a bit nervous, looked this Psalm up & recited most of it by memory. It was one my Granny taught me to remember whenever I felt afraid.

Recited it just before dozing off @ 4amEST.

Hubs said that 30mins later, he heard a loud crack; it hit the house, near our bedroom👼

This was a tree limb we didn't get to cut this past summer. Neighbor/I decided to let nature get it down whenever lol.

I am thankful we cut the majority of vulnerable ones down; w/this ice...not gonna imagine...!

Hi Folks! Rainy & cold day here; not as cold as some at @ 38°F, but cold to me!

Rode our🛵 in the rain(I💯don't recommend it though😬😅). It goes over the 30mph limit sometimes...zoom zoom!👵🏽🤣

Just got back from the RX store; got an extra large dog bed; it was fun getting it home...bungee cords are a very useful item to have! I strap down whatever won't fit in a backpack.

Going down hills, my heart still races, but I'm learning just when to gear down, which/when/ how much pressure is needed, & length of road needed to stop, etc.

Hubs is frustrated that I take off when he's😴😂

Maybe Hubs & I are in the minority, but, to us, this just is odd & doesn't sit too well with us.

Perhaps the concept is well intended, but my generation would have stayed home with the baby, gotten a sitter, or used an umbrella!

The thought of putting babies in plastic...👵🏽👴🏽

I once had a Beagle named Dice. He was lucky I kept him; as a stray he'd jumped in the car at a friend's; I didn't know it until I started driving away & he sat upon my head!

He didn't mind when my kids insisted on dressing him in their outworn clothing, according to the weather.
