Ugh; somewhat wet day here🤔...weeds, ivy in particular, are easier to get out when ground wet; I've been known to be out in the rain, galoshes, a giant pink sombrero, bright green gloves on, cane-whacking, off-balance, 🤬yanking weeds out & raking...hey🤫🐉; the leaves are soggy & stay where I put 'em🤣

I💯have no idea why my neighbors think me a bit... eccentric; I just want a nice backyard 🤷‍♀️🤣

This is our Uncle Jay(hub's Mom's Bro) black car; white car was fleeing cops🤬Heard he was caught; fam unsure of any details.

Unc crashed into a pole, it fell on car, crushed face, fire started, cut out of car.

Although we are at the highest level of pissitude💯🤬, which is further aggravated due to Coronavirus hospital entry/visiting restrictions😷we're thankful everyone lived. So far🙏🤞

He's in a great🏨that has own🚁& excellent team of trauma Drs; not🚁to major trauma🏨, so good sign

The more News I avoid, the more there is! Ugh. Illness/hospitalization surrounding the White House!

Even though not a supporter, at all, I pray for & wish the President a speedy recovery & that no adverse harm come to him.

This isn't an 'I told you so' moment; even people who take precautions can be felled. He knows, I think, that despite all his bravado, he has failed to make it disappear; he's human.

This is the time to just🙏for all who have/had it. I will; join me.

I remember this day; can't forget. NYFD firefighters once saved my life as a child. I never knew their names, but often wonder are any still alive & if they had some part in this.

I was a welding temp at work & my trainer was off, so I'd snuck a Walkman radio in to ease boredom. It was almost break time & I was switching channels to listen to an NPR station as I heard. No one believed my yells at first, but soon, everyone crowded around to👂to my tiny radio😭

Husband's birthday was Monday; he got to celebrate his B'day as well as a holiday.

He was a bit tipsy by the time he got the surprise of his life!🤣

Our kids had promised to visit/celebrate with him at home per his wishes; he just wanted to chill with family. By 5pm, no one had come. He started feeling sad & I couldn't lift his mood. Finally, 30mins later, they showed up, w/a friend girl, who was also having a B'day.

This⬇️pulled up & we all, +9yr Granddaughter, rode out of town for dinner❤️

A few years ago, my husband found 3 or 4 of these balls & tossed them on the back of the truck. Went to landfill today, & balls rolled out. I didn't pay attention to them until I tossed Georgia🐕one; we have Trump's balls🤭; ack!🤣Chew dogs, chew!

It's a sports company; no idea if company is affiliated; just disgusted I've not looked closer at it if so🤷‍♀️

Are you a lark, or a night owl? Hmm...me; a little of both. 🤔Often can't💤 at night & am up until I'm not😁. I hate to have to wake up, get up, & actually physically do stuff early in the morning🥀; however, when nowhere to go, find myself up in the wee hours before dawn🎉, enjoying the world at peace; both are my best thinking/creating times; I tend to lean towards night owl.

🤔My🧓& my🎹teacher both taught me the joy of learning something new and/or different.

I'd be told to do something that I was teenager-clueless about, & left alone to struggle & figure it out, sometimes begging for help, to no avail.

When I finally figured out how to do something around the house or yard, or played a song without hitting the wrong key, I was🎉

🧓: I won't always be round to show ya how; teach yourself things

🎹Teacher: Giving ya answers isn't teaching.

A 🌹 for everyone; just because!

Slept fitfully, but woke up alive & able to move this morning; I feel Blessed & Thankful as I remember there are those who can do neither one.

Steer your mind the way you wish your day to be; try to stay on course no matter what you face. Yes, it can be hard, esp., when a problem arises and seems insurmountable, unsolvable, or too devastating to deal with.

I've been/go through many trials, but I push through them; I know there's ALWAYS someone doing worse💯

Eye Dr went well yesterday. Went to regular one who did surgery (for 2nd opinion), not the one w/ER follow-ups at hospital.

No scar, no damage; yay! Only dryness in both easily handled with drops. No glasses, other than my readers, needed yet. Wear eyepatch to strengthen weakest eye.

Up sipping☕ & catching up. Your words are slightly blurred, but worth the effort to strain a bit to see; I grow fonder of this place every time I get on here.💝

Another way to🤔of it. Doodling while listening to a⛈️. Hurricane may come close in a day or two. Been through worse than the one coming, so, no major worries...🤔unless the huge pile of brush we had a guy pile up for us in front of the house starts blowing around. Theeennn we have a problem. A yuge problem😁Lol; this is the 2nd pile; city picked up 1st huge pile. They were sweeping the street clean in 90°F weather & I told them don't bother; the next pile'd be bigger. They🏃💨back to truck🤣

🤔Some of us are the potatoes, softening & feeling weak & powerless against the water; some are the eggs with hard shells who dare it to break them.

When it's all said & done, and the water is cooled & gone, the potatoes & the eggs can come together in their differences to create something good; we can make one helluva potato salad together, but we need each other to make it good!
