During my "discussion" with one of my managers yesterday that included a performance review from my previous job location, I "came out" to that manager so that staff could get my pronouns correct and other related stuff. Immediately his demeanor changed when I told him and he started talking about all the "theys"(his words) at another store location, I gently corrected him by using the phrase "non-binary people" to refer to those non-binary staff members. And he kept referring to them as "theys"
