Son and DIL are headed to France the week after the Olympics. They had been planning for a France trip for some time but found that there were huge discounts in the post-Olympic gap. I am just hoping for the best.
@ArcturusSaDiablo Kind of what I warned them but they said the cost difference allowed them 3 extra days. They start in Bordeaux, go somewhere else, then Paris.

They may still be in clean-up mode. Best to go in with minimal expectations and lots of compassion. Workers are going to be tired. And don't be too surprised to see some places closed just to give people a break.
