So, the wife is off to get replacement uppers. She woke up Sunday and they were gone. But at least we have an idea why. There were mouse droppings on the table next to the dish she puts them in. So, in short, a mouse stole her teeth.
So if anyone has a spare $500 laying around... 🙄
@AngryCanadianGamer I was surprised to find it isn't uncommon. Who knew? One article quoted a doc that said it smells like food so they are interested,

@DavidKMresists From what I read, they end up putting it in a nest as a trinket or just abandoning it somewhere. These are deer mice which are SMALL. So, maybe it's a chair now.
Technically I have 2 cats. One is good at mousing. Outside. He brings them in and sometimes lets them go. We have tried to explain how it works. But.. cat.
They got a squirrel yesterday. That was a horrific sound I don't need again.
