I remember the days when if you hated the television coverage, you could turn on the radio and listen to different announcers.
I might just take a pair of scissors to my ears.
@Graci About 20 years ago, my friend wanted to hear the radio announcers for the football game but watch on his HD TV. I forget which was behind, but the HD radio tuner or the TV was behind the other. Our other friend built a simply delay box with RCA jacks and a knob for him.
@Ellico2020bis LOL! I've been known to pause/play/pause/play to sync things!
@Graci It must have been the radio ahead (which would make sense, less processing), else a delay box wouldn't have helped. #Deduction
@Ellico2020bis Makes sense.
MLBTV offers this...you can change the audio stream to a radio broadcast instead of the TV announcers (I happen to like the yanks tv folks tho)...which is pretty neato...that app rocks...
@opie I'd take the Anaheim Ducks announcers. Literally over 4 minutes of clock time and not discussing the game.
@opie We're blacked out on ESPN
yeah... that whole situation sucks (I've ranted about this often)...I pay for ESPN+ and additionally pay for a VPN service to bypass geo restrictions so I can actually consume the content for which I paid... ππ€¬
@Graci This is the way. <ducks>
JFC. It's apparently Star Wars night in Raleigh and if they use any more SW metaphors and references, I just might feed them to a shrak pit.
