The #CarolinaHurricanes have lost their #1 Goaltender for an indefinite period of time due to a blood clotting issue. So they're bringing in a 38 year old unsigned netminder (Halak) instead of promoting Pyotr Kochetkov. They must thing he isn't ready.

@Kaysymmetry He was a decent backup, good numbers. We'll see what happens. He's trying out today so we'll see what they do.
@Graci Halak has had some success in the past, but he's been unable to replicate that consistently throughout his career. Hopefully, for the Hurricanes, he does well.
