False statements I've read from anti-Trans lawmakers, group leaders, and faith leaders.
❌ 6-month old girls are being given testosterone
❌ Girls as young as 8 are having their breasts removed.
❌ Transition is murder because it kills the child that was born.
❌ Transition is a form of identity theft.
❌ Gender-affirming care is like the COVID vaccine - you didn't need it and you won't die without it.
❌ Allowing name and gender changes on legal documents encourages fraud

That number 3 is especially bizarre and outrageous. As if a person's entire identity were encapsulated in their sex.
You know what else "kills the child that was born"? Getting older.
But it shows that people will tell any lie or use any exaggeration as long as the end result is making people feel outraged. When they succeed, they feel powerful. It's a head rush for them. Other people must be made miserable so that a few dead-enders can get high on power.
