You can probably vote for the school board, the library board, maybe sheriff, local officials and offices that shape your community. In some cases, you can vote for judges, maybe even your state supreme court. Do you have a plan to vote?

@Rstrahs nope, philly burbs, lived in san fran for a couple yrs a long time ago.I've probably posted about that so you might've gotten that impression from those posts

@Rstrahs voting at an elem school and parking isn't bad. I'm more likely to get in a fender bender at work
@GlennS that was my first "accident" and I am still a little shaken and to call it a minor accident is exaggerating the whole ordeal.
@GlennS in the south, I had to vote a small church with the parking lot that fit approx 20 cars. My first election was Obamas 1st term and that place was packed with people parking on the side of the street.
