It's funny how history repeats itself. We don't send in help to countries until they've either experienced massive losses or someone gets assassinated.
@mcfate true... I hope they start getting some noticed help from other nations in Ukraine. There is probably some green door/back ops shot going on but we won't know until long after the conflict ends
@GingerCaseus
Not sure what you're referring to, but maybe this will lift your spirits:
"The U.S. military has been very active in delivering and otherwise facilitating the shipment of military aid to Ukraine, even before Russia launched its invasion." (As have EU and other partners).

@b4cks4w this whole thing is fucking with my mind a little. I'm just glad I'm in a good place because the years of preparing and seeing it happen without being in the middle of it drives me bonkers.
Mostly the Air Defense, SEAD, DEAD, A2AD areas of military intervention. I never got into the cyber area but I bet it's fucking balls to the wall in there.
@GingerCaseus you're in good company; nothing about this is easy for anyone, not even bystanders.
@GingerCaseus
More like "We don't enter wars without direct provocation", which is actually not that novel a geopolitical principle.
