Last night my wife almost out of the blue verbalized what I had been preaching for about a year.
"We are free to go anywhere."
With legal cannabis... But "Yep!"
This is the product of our marital crisis from last year. My wife has a strong flight instinct. Even a a "CEO".
So, her "reward" for all her high stress is that after three years, she can fly.
The only reason I am king in my little world is because she is my queen.
@SECRET_ASIAN_MAN But where does she want to go? Didn't you guys just take a vacation? Or is it more of a feeling of being trapped by job/life and wanting to break free? That old, "Is this all there is?"

There's two ways to look at life.
Oh, God, I'm just a lowly cog in this machine. Turning and grinding myself and life away.
Or
I'm a cog in this machine! Without me the whole thing comes grinding to a halt. I'm right where I'm supposed to be to keep this whole thing humming along smoothly.
