We have his and hers walk in closets that are part of the because of the floors, their baseboards and walls.

Prior to this. The closet was suffocating because of the shelf system added to it. Most of which stayed empty or held clothes now delivered to donation.

At least for mine, I'm thinking of keeping the shelving off... fitting with the theme of "opening and brightening up" the spaces.

Has anyone done this? REMOVED the shelving?

@SECRET_ASIAN_MAN Can't say I have because we always seem to need more shelving. For shoes, sweaters, hats, extra blankets, etc.

We actually bought a couple wardrobes (got rid of the dressers), removed the pole for hanging clothes, and added shelves.

The wardrobes/armoire have less of a foot print than the dressers had. Our bedroom is rather small.
