@ExecutiveFunction404 Right? Besides, if somebody is in a wheel chair, because of the handles on the back, they'll be sitting practically in front of anyone sitting on the bench. Unless they park themselves face first into the bench.

I forgot about the handles - apparently they did too, which just goes to show that it wasn't done through anyone with knowledge of the ADA. Which is questionable, as I've worked in construction and every step of the way is planned, approved by the building department, inspected, etc.

Wow, it's even worse than I originally imagined, bc the hoops they must have had to jump through to bypass the ADA would have accounted for much higher costs and more work 🤦‍♀️
