Teams conference call and as usual I'm on video because I'm a badass.

Every now and then the PM asks about whatever new art piece I'm displaying behind me on the call. (Unless it's an obvious one like the Mona Lisa).

Over 10 years of teleworking, my office is my *studio*.

Yesterday's was "A Girl in White: White GIrl" by Whistler as I'm running a sereies on realism.

Rightt after that a coworker whips out a couple handguns of as examples of Americana (art?)

A few asked about it. I said, "aw, man...you whipped it out in public!"

I'm not troubled by it but some might be. Is brandishing a firearm during a meeting permitted by HR?

@SECRET_ASIAN_MAN Assuming gun brandisher was also attending the meeting via video ...

I think most folks would like a warning beforehand.

People tend to forget that guns can have a beauty to them. The etching in the metal, the carving of and on the stock and the forestock. They can be quite attractive. Yet they are tools with a primary purpose of killing, so they can be quite scary, and scary-looking.
