I grew up believing in the hustle lifestyle. As in, while you sleep I work and I never lets myself be sick, and I’m always pushing harder. It led to some success, but they came at a cost. I don’t want my kids to grow up thinking it’s healthy to be this way, but I keep hearing these words come from their coaches. I know it’s motivational, but damn life is too short for that shit.

My kid is playing ball in my old high school gym and you know what, the old place isn’t that bad. I probably should have gone to class more… or at all. Oh well, live and learn. Something to work on in my next life. 😉

Back in Cali after a two week trial in Oregon. I finally had a good night’s sleep and I’m ready to relax… but driving my kids to two soccer games, two basketball games, and practice!

A couple of weeks in Plans have made me feel a little better about climate change. If I ever have to leave Cali, this place is great. Love the people, everything is green, and best of all you can’t “see” the air.

Last day of trial, now we wait for the jury.

Getting towards the end of trial and all I keep thinking is “I’ll sleep when I’m done”, right up until court is in session and then it’s like someone hits a switch and I feel invincible. Adrenaline is a magical thing.

I’m out of state in trial and I almost left my phone in my car. Had to call son with my watch to bring it back! Technology solving the problem it creates. 🤣🤣🤣

6 days in Portland and 2 in Cali. Note back to Portland to finish my trial. Gonna need to finish strong but I already feel like I’m running on reserves.
