It's ridiculous that SCOTUS doesn't even know its history. Abortions have been legal in this country far longer than illegal. They should just say its naked politics and be done with it.

On Facebook I belong to several cat appreciation groups. In one, there has been extensive discussion of how members are able to help other to ... ahem ... adopt a cat in states where this is more possible than in others. Most damn encouraging moving thing I have read in a while.

RvW supporters are currently verbally engaging armed counterprotesters. The counterprotesters are armed with semi auto weapons. Local and State PD are patrolling and national guard have been on scene.
It does appear the angry protesters are trying hard to instigate the counters.

I appreciate that the Jan 6 commission is trying to prove their case to America. But if nothing comes of it, then it was a waste of time. There are a lot of things the Dems could’ve done for this country that didn’t happen because this was a priory. We need results.
