Part of the problem is with Wall St. greed It's not enough to stay in the black. If you had a good year, investors and analysts want you to increase profits dramatically the next year or quarter. It's not sustainable but it becomes the expectation. You can read about stock prices taking a hit when profits were up significantly - yet short of expectations. It's a good recipe for bubble making.

#Workflow

Finishing finances for the month, I'm pleased that I'm still able to knock down debt again--and the aim is to keep it that way, despite yet again being thrown into financial precarity.

This is my first week with full control over my workflow (class cancellations aside), so I need to get ahead in newsletter posts, which will give me time for more writing/pitching articles and fiction instead.

How do we eat an elephant?

Well, we don't--but if we did, it would be one bite at a time. 👌

First I’m supposed to be saved, now daylight? What’s next? Can we stop
saving things and maybe work on not putting them in danger in the first place?
