It can be quite helpful for some kids to opt out of their biological sex puberty. If that's the route they and their parents agree on, I have zero issue with that. That part of it is medical.

As for ADHD, I only wish I'd gotten on meds for it as a child. School was an absolute living hell. When my son expressed his own intense struggles, I took him in to be evaluated. His request and my agreement. He didn't need to suffer the way I did.

It's sad he felt he had to live in secret, while being a Republican. Despite there, currently, being no evidence he spoke against LGBTQ+, he supported a party who hated him and people like him. Then he was shamed and hounded to death.

THIS is why LGBTQ+ kids, especially trans kids, need *support*.

Omgs, I just applied to a homeless shelter I volunteered at in the summer of '08, I want sooooooooo much to work in the professional bleeding heart liberal field, it's what I got my degree for, omgs omgs omgs crossing all fingers and toes. The position is to provide support for recently housed patrons, I've had personal experience as that exact person three times in my life, that's got to count for something, right? Lol, this is the only field where experience falling on your ass is a bonus.

The pulsar itself is tiny, only ~20km across, but it illuminates its surroundings 33 times per second and we can see its effect 6523 light years away 🤯
