@Gambit_1 yeah and it’s too bad. Everyone should have the chance to experience it.
@Gambit_1 it’s hard but wonderful 😊
That would have been the dream 🖤
I would very much prefer to have been wrong and at the end of my days gone off to my final sleep a cranky paranoid old man amusing the grandchildren with pointless mutterings about never again.
@Minholkin I've always said that the neo-nazis were just practice for the real war.
Every account of antisemitism, every flagrant lie that is used to harm, I think “Render was right.” It’s a terrible terrible affirmation. 😞

I will be attending a Bar Mitzvah tomorrow, I keep thinking about how important and also how sad this occasion will be, so far from family--
I also keep thinking, @Render was right.
All these years of vigilance, fighting online Nazis, fighting antisemitism, bracing for the flood
that is now far worse than I dared ever imagine--and that was after trying to be a good student of the information that he shared.
We see the worst confirmation of the worst expectations.

@Gambit_1 I’m definitely not privileged by any means but I live off grid in the deep woods.
@Gambit_1 - yeah, it does. I live in an outdoor mecca but none of the parks are free, and/or they require travel/gas, pus basic supplies.
Sounds amazing, but it also sounds very privileged. - “20 minutes in green environs, three times a week. Five hours somewhere deeper in nature, each month. And three days off the grid completely, each year.” https://flip.it/spFYve

@Gambit_1 I'm extremely sorry for your families' loss. 😔 What a beautiful cat.
#RIP Shadow. We will miss you. You were a straight up G who earned the respect of every dog who had the misfortune of looking at you the wrong way.
He's dead, good
Get some good Sleep tonight Mainers. new day tomorrow to mourn, grieve, and try to make a better world in the future
There are no amount of guns that will make us feel safer, lets try less guns
@Gambit_1 they’re so good for getting rid of pests that try to get into the house. I love turning on the porch light for them so they get more bugs
100%. The hypocrisy is infuriating. Even in the wake of this latest data by two reporting agencies (one in September, one this month confirming), plenty of lawmakers are just seeing this situation as requiring greater "enforcement": monitoring people trying to leave the state, blocking their mail, upping threats of legal consequences, and sanctioning healthcare facilities into nonexistence.
Rough times in the US. So much energy dedicated to making life worse for fellow human beings.
