It’s #TeacherAppreciationWeek and while my demeanor in high school didn’t suggest that I was particularly appreciative, I must thank Mrs. H who wasn’t my teacher, but supervised our weekly newsletter production. Each week, we had to plan, write, edit, mimeograph, collate, staple, and distribute that darn newsletter to every classroom. Even when there was no news, we learned to produce work products on a deadline, a skill that served me well ever since.
