The day before a big hearing or trial, I get the same feeling I used to before stepping on the pitch. It is exhilarating.
@Gambit_1 I used to say I never got nervous before a trial because I grew up figure skating.
I was used to being scrutinized for technical ability and emotional impact by a panel of people, and jurors weren't also basing their verdict on whether I was wearing enough sequins or needed to drop five pounds.
