@BugsnYogi The air is so fresh you feel clean just walking around. The moss looks like Gourmet lettuce. You wring it out and get 1/2 a cup of water. You have big chantrelle mushrooms growing l Iike weeds, wild asparagus everywhere and clams along every beach.
@BugsnYogi You can actually drink from the streams without fear of giardia or any other contamination. Washington state takes the environment seriously. The Olympic National Park is pristine as is Mt Olympus and the surrounding areas. When you drink the water from the streams your body is so satisfyingly thirst quenching.
@GFerro1965 It’s pretty magical. I can hear the moss and ferns dripping just thinking about it.
