Mildred was so busy watching TV, napping, and enjoying the open blinds and sunshine that she almost forgot to wish you a magnificent , but sheโ€™s doing so now! ๐Ÿ˜บ

Iโ€™m not always the biggest basketball fan, but the LSU Womenโ€™s Basketball team is fun to watch, and they just played one hell of a game! Championship bound for the 1st time!! ๐Ÿ…๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ€

@MisterE @YouTube We watched the season 2 premiere of Yellowjackets Friday and this song was featured (perfectly timed with what was going on onscreen), and I havenโ€™t been able to get it out of my head since. This is such a great song! Although I was super into alternative rock, I wasnโ€™t the biggest Tori Amos fan as a teen in the โ€˜90s, but I really appreciate her music now. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Theo hopes your has been top-notch, filled with all your favorite activities. Some of his include hanging out on the balcony, relaxing with Roscoe, and playing with his jingle ball and springs. ๐Ÿ˜บ

@Catzly I agree. We liked Jason Segal in that as well as some of his movies, too. Enjoy! ๐Ÿ˜บ

@Catzly Youโ€™re welcome! We seem to like all the shows that Bill Lawrence is involved with, so I figured weโ€™d like this, too. I wasnโ€™t wrong! The cast is so great together - their chemistry just built so well over the season. Of course we already loved Harrison Ford, and this role made us love him more. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Besides watching the season 2 premiere of today (what a crazy start and what perfect music, yet again), we got to watch the season 1 finale of , which we quickly fell in love with when it premiered in January. If you have Apple TV+, you should give it a watch if you havenโ€™t already. is so great!! We loved the acting, writing, and the overall feel of this show. We canโ€™t wait for season 2! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

I finished my 4th book so far for 2023 last night (The Lost Apothecary) and it was great! Iโ€™m trying to balance nonfiction and fiction a bit better this year since I enjoy both, but I read novels much quicker. Here are the first 4 Iโ€™ve read this year. I enjoyed all for quite different reasons, though I didnโ€™t always agree with Klostermanโ€™s take on events of the 1990s. It was still a good nostalgic read, though.

@yadayadayada That whole album is one of my favorite albums. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

@DJNoneYa I never did use Messenger & I repeatedly tell friends not to message me there if theyโ€™re wanting a quick response, since I can only access those messages if I logon to FB from a computer, which I probably only do 1-2 times/year, tops. Some of them still canโ€™t grasp it. When FB decided to make messages inaccessible within their regular app or by logging in via mobile web browser, thatโ€™s when l stopped thinking of FB messages as a mode of communication. I hate adding apps for everything.

Today, our 2nd oldest kitty, the handsome, wonderfully fluffy, super sweet Bryan, is celebrating his 17th birthday!! We love you so much!! Happy birthday, Bryan!! ๐ŸŽ‚๐Ÿ˜บ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’›

I was catching up on episodes of Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and loved seeing Isabel Wilkerson on last Thursdayโ€™s show (I just loved her book Caste when I read it a couple of years ago - I highly recommend it!), and this was my favorite of her many standout quotes from the interview:
โ€œIgnorance is no protection against the consequences of inaction.โ€
