I finished my 2nd book of 2022 last night - this fun collection of essays from Phoebe Robinson. I’ve been a fan of Phoebe’s for the last few years and while I hadn’t yet read her books, I knew I would like them, since I enjoy her humor. This book, while sometimes tackling subject matter that is a bit more serious, did not fail in bringing a smile to my face and often laughs as well. I definitely recommend it. 👍🏼

At least there are some funny memes as a result.. This one made me laugh. 😹

Meanwhile…in Misery (oops - Missouri), Idiocracy reigns yet again. They either got hacked, or if their excuse is actually true, they tested in production. Either way = dumb. I would expect nothing less!

@WuzzaDiva This one fits the vast majority of the population, I’m afraid. 👎🏼

Bryan had a rough start to the week due to enduring his first ever dental cleaning in his almost 16-year life, but he’s much better now and wishing you a glorious full of relaxation, fun times with buddies, and quality naps. 😺

@killagator @Netherbury Thanks. It’s odd, because I didn’t have this issue on FB or Twitter and haven’t had the problem with my Caturday pics or others shared here in the past, but I’ll have to remember that as the trick if it happens again. 👍🏼👏🏼

I’m not sure why the photo is sideways, because that’s not how it looks in my camera roll. 🤷🏻‍♀️😹

I finished reading this book, my first of 2022 (an Xmas present that Mom knew to get before I even asked), last night & absolutely loved it! Of course we’re massive fans of Foo Fighters & Dave Grohl, having seen them live 5 times now, but I highly recommend this to anyone who loves rock music. One of the best stories was about the impromptu 2015 Grammys after-party that involved a Second Line parade led by none other than Preservation Hall Jazz Band. 🎶🎵🎼

@szethsonson You’re welcome. It’s one of our faves. We liked The Good Wife a lot, but I think we may like The Good Fight even more. 👍🏼

We just finished binging season 5 of earlier today and absolutely loved it. We’ve been fans of this show since its first season in 2017, and it just keeps getting better. I highly recommend it if you haven’t checked it out yet.

Vincent is taking a break from posing handsomely, snoozing with Mikey, spending quality time with Bryan, and tearing into new catnip toys with Fiona to wish you an awesome . 😺

I fell behind on my reading due to too much stress at work lately, but over the holiday break, I’ve made up for it, finishing book #17 for the year, Blowout, & reading all of book #18, The Lion in the Living Room. Both were extremely interesting, though vastly different subject matter, of course. I’ve read quite a few pages this year - not sure if I can keep the pace for 2022, but I’ve certainly improved over 2020’s total, both in number & in avg. pages.

@evistre Yes - we’re just letting her go about it at her pace. Today she sat in yet another new spot - the back of a loveseat she hadn’t really gotten on before. 😺

@Kitty62862 I know! We fell in love with her the moment we saw her picture when she arrived at Mauhaus Cat Cafe. She’s quite unique!

@evistre Thanks!! We just love her so much. She’s very sweet and so soft. She’s getting more and more comfortable with us, and doing normal cat things like snoozing on couches and hanging out near us instead of always being in a cat tree or perched elsewhere farther away. We think that she had it pretty rough for the first couple years of her life before the rescue group saved her. It was a hoarding situation. 👎🏼 We keep telling her she doesn’t have to worry about that anymore. 👍🏼
