On this somewhat average day, we are celebrating - we paid off our house! 🎉 We bought it in 2005 and had a 30-year mortgage at 6% at that point, but refinanced to a 15-year mortgage at 3.25% in 2012. We accelerated our payments a bit over the last few years and got the balance down to under $5K, so we wrote a check for the remainder today. #Adulting #Thankful #DebtFreeForALittleWhile 🏡🧾✅
