@XaoslordErie Yes. No more lifetime appointments and you can serve only two terms for any elected position. Chuck Grassley is what happens when there are no controls in place.

I do think we should set a retirement age for Congresscritters - maybe 70…?
@XaoslordErie @FromTheId I live in a ruby red state and that's exactly how that would go here.
@FromTheId It'd be great - if voting worked ... but in some places, it doesn't perform the function it was designed for. Not saying it doesn't work at all, just that the process is sometimes corrupted due to gerrymandering and other 'solutions'.
