I do not feel like working today. I feel like fooling around! I've got a big project to drag across the finish line, though, and a grant renewal partially depends on it - so I'm going to try to resist you lovely people for the next few hours.

Sometimes those days are sweeter when delayed by anticipation.
The project I'm working on has been a collaboration with labs across the country, and the project is something that we will be asking experts from all over the world to weigh in on.
It was daunting at the beginning (because my experimental organism is yeast and the project focuses on the human genome), but the lab chief was sure I could do it. He just wanted it to take less of my time than it has. Fair enough!
