I have nothing against anyone practicing their religion, but don’t send me a personal letter and a religious tract in the mail. I am saving all my Planned Parenthood, Emily’s List, ACLU, Southern Poverty Law Center and DNC mail to send back to this person, a stranger in another state. I’ll include a note asking if she likes getting unsolicited personal mail. Don’t know how she got my address. Feels invasive.

@GrandmaJ I get one of those every couple of months. *sigh*

@Foxthorn It’s ok with me if people want to worship. I have no problem with that, but leave me and my space and my mailbox alone.

@GrandmaJ I'm not even sure how they got my address. I feel like my ultra-religious neighbor put me on a mailing list because she's convinced I'm going to hell. I'm fine with people practicing their own religion. I'm not ok with unsolicited religious advances.

@Foxthorn I’m in Indiana. The mail came from Michigan. I’m going to Google the address and see what shows up. Also might search the woman’s name.

@GrandmaJ mine comes from someone in my town. I'm hoping they eventually give up. I've by sinning a long time. I have no intention of stopping now.

@Foxthorn She is 80 years old! Her husband is 85. Found this by Googling. The tract is Jehovah's Witness.
A few weeks ago I got a JW tract from local JW's addressed to my brother at my address.
I don't know what these people are doing mining addresses, but it's very disturbing.
I have lived my life as honestly, caring and good hearted as I could and not because god told me to. I make no apologies.
