@Foxthorn Why work all the time??? I seem to have friends (and my daughter) who just work, work, work! Take time to just sit down and breathe. Enjoy looking at your garden, watch the birds, just be there!
@GrandmaJ My brain has trouble turning off. If I wake up in the middle of the night, I often will not be able to go back to sleep. However, I am happy to report though that I spent the day napping and reading for pleasure and will spend the evening under the pergola enjoying the yard after it cools off a bit :) it was a lovely day. I hope your day was equally wonderful π
@GrandmaJ As I said, I'm not very good at it. However, I'm very fortunate to have coworkers who care about me and yell at me when I'm working too much, and a company who at least gives lip service to caring about work/life balance. It was also a bit eye opening when my manager calculated the $$$ associated with my overtime thus far this year.
@Foxthorn For the long game, take some time outs. The game will last longer if you do.
@Foxthorn I really wish my daughter would learn that. Sheβs definitely a Type A. Works all the time and seems at loose ends when she isnβt working. She will probably work till she keels over. I wish she would learn to stop and enjoy things a little.
