Up extra early for the extra early PT appointment (I like them early, but a half hour later would be better). The boys are still up to shit #dogsofCoSo
I have no idea what's going on with #Kanye but can we stop insinuating that he has 'mental health problems'. He appears to simply be another right wing lunatic and a nazi-sympathizer.
I spent much of my career working with folk with pyschosis and major mental health disorders - none were hateful people or had an inclination towards nazism. They were ill.
It damages an already targeted and stigmatized group and further alienates those with geneuine mental health conditions.
#politics Defeat for Trump is a triumph for the rule of law. 11th Circuit unanimously rules Judge Cannon was incorrect, eliminates her ruling, orders case be dismissed.
Tristan Snell: "Special master: gone. All restrictions on DOJ use of recovered Mar-a-Lago documents: gone."
"Massive DOJ win. Great day for democracy and the rule of law."
11th Circuit's opinion:
“The law is clear,” the appeals court wrote. “We cannot write a rule that allows any subject of a search warrant to block government investigations after the execution of the warrant. Nor can we write a rule that allows only former presidents to do so. Either approach would be a radical reordering of our case law limiting the federal courts’ involvement in criminal investigations. And both would violate bedrock separation-of-powers limitations.”
Alaska Rep. @MaryPeltola laid out the issues very well. This isn't just a few sick days, but also not placing yourself in jeopardy of being fired when taking a sick day. This needs to be resolved properly.

BREAKING: Appeals court halts special master review of documents seized at Mar-a-Lago in major defeat for Trump
https://www.cnn.com/2022/12/01/politics/mar-a-lago-special-master/index.html
A catastrophic rail strike was averted on Thursday as the Senate voted 80-15 on a new labor agreement to increase wages and health benefits for rail workers.
Republicans filibustered an additional Democratic bill that would have provided rail workers with 7 days of paid sick leave. The deal was voted down by a vote of 52-43, falling short of the 60 votes needed to overcome the filibuster. 1/
Republican Senators Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, Lindsey Graham, John Kennedy, Josh Hawley, and Mike Braun joined Democrats in voting yes. Democratic Senator Joe Manchin voted against the paid sick leave measure.
It is worth noting that Members of Congress have unlimited paid sick days.
After Cruz's yes vote, Sen. Bernie Sanders joked to the Texas Senator, "I always knew you were a socialist."
GET EM BERNIE! #politics
Amazing how many people don’t get that.
I know it well. Nothing left on that site is worth resuming my role as a combatant. I don’t like who I became.
At all.
It's me. I'm the problem. I'm that person your mother warned you about! 'We all do well when we all do well' (Wellstone) #BLM #VoteBlue #Democracy #Cancer
