Also... stolen valor is maybe somehow even worse when someone DID serve, but lies about what they did in the military. Almost everyone is either infantry or in some support role. Statistically, very nearly zero people are any sort of SEAL or Airborne or Force Recon.

I know that a lot of folks are tired of seeing all the posts about #voting but I'd rather have to put up with that clogging my feed than not have the option to #vote at all.

I'm grading first-year annotated bibliographies this morning. So many students are missing class from illness (and other reasons, I'm sure). This is quite possibly the poorest set of assignments I have ever seen. Students are under so much stress. Our failure to protect their mental and physical health has consequences. The upside is that those coming to class show great potential.

I hate hate HATE being a "doom and gloom" guy, but I honestly dunno how America can survive with a congress that's controlled by literal QAnon members.

Lawsuits already filed across the country, and of course, in Pennsylvania.

PA Republican legislature passed a law in 2019 that early votes or absentee votes could not be counted until day of election, hence, outcome cannot be known for a day or so.

GOP has filed a lawsuit wanting the mail in votes to be disqualified.

Fascism and authoritarianism is alive and fighting hard to survive.
