Not quite as medieval, but my first of 3 master's degrees was on attribution theory in social psychology. I love school. I love grad school - well, except for the sexual harassment that cost me my PhD. But I love school - and I love hearing about others' extremely well-deserved wins!

@ATXJane @Florence Ouch, very sorry to hear about the sexual harassment. I was very fortunate that my advisor and three of my four other readers were female. It made a huge difference. Learning is fabulous; school, only sometimes.

I am close to tears thinking about it and it happened in the 1980s. So sad. And the major prof who was behind it all had also lauded me as the best student they had ever had in the program.
My life course was meant to be different, but wow it stung.
