@Zolah I totally feel for you. In the UK, my projected (normal) quarterly fuel bill will now be £1,200 (for 12 weeks), it used to be £350 and has tripled due to energy rises. It's way too expensive for me hence I cannot put my heating on. It was -4 last night.
It's miserable and freezing!
I'm using hand warmers and hot water bottles!
Stay safe there.
@Zolah Yep, exactly the same here. In January we are also having planned power cuts after Chrsitmas, 3 x a week leading to potential 24 hour power cuts. This is apparenty to 'conserve fuel'. We will be in the dark, my medical emergency alarm won't work etc. It's a total mess.
@Zolah But you can bet your life 10 Downing Street and the government will still have their lights on. At the moment, we have to go to the national power website to see which days we won't have power in Jan, Feb, March etc.
@Florence ugh 😑 can one say anything else than that it sucks to be alive atm ? I hope this is a tell that things will change to more positive things in the future. A little like karma
@Zolah I'd like to think so.
@Florence Here in sweden the prices are rising alot to, we dont have much money in our household due to disabillities and whatnot. Goverment have been talking about financial relief for the extra costs, but only for the south? and if i remember correctly only rich people pretty much. We get colder up here, so I dont see the fairness in it.
I feel mostly sad for my parents, they live in a house. I think apartments gets warmer due to being stacked ontop of each other?
