A parent of a child killed in a school shooting once said to me 'in my dreams, she comes home'.
I've never forgotten it. It still makes my heart lurch.
Gun violence changes you, you are never the same and you never view the world in the same way again.
We must stop this.

@LSWellesley That sentence plagues my brain whenever there is yet another pointless mass shooting. The Uvalde families are just coming up to their first Christmas without their babies too. It must stop, we can't keep adding to the bereaved.
